Coya Dubai's Friday brunch is the city's most reliably fun party brunch - a Latin-energy affair with a resident DJ building from cool lounge beats at 1pm to a proper dance floor vibe by 3:30pm. The food is genuinely good Peruvian - anticuchos, ceviche, whole-roasted meats, plantain sides - and the pisco sour free-flow is the right spirit for the occasion. The DIFC crowd that fills Coya on Fridays is dressed properly and ready to have a good time. Table turns at 5:30pm; by 4pm the dancing has usually already started. The gold-and-teak interior, candles everywhere, Latin music bouncing off the walls - it's the most theatrical brunch setting in the city.
