Zuma Dubai's Saturday brunch is one of the most refined in the city - a rotating sharing menu of contemporary Japanese dishes (edamame with fleur de sel, crispy rice tuna, slow-cooked lamb cutlets from the robata, miso black cod) with a free-flow that leans on sake cocktails and Japanese highballs rather than generic wine. The DIFC venue is spectacular - a multi-level interior with a live robata grill, sushi counter and bar - and the Saturday clientele is dressed as if for an evening out rather than a family lunch. Not cheap, but the food is genuinely excellent and the atmosphere is unlike any other brunch in Dubai.
