Jumeirah is Dubai's original premium residential neighbourhood, a long stretch of low-rise villas and leafy streets running along the coast south of the Creek, bookended by the iconic Burj Al Arab. The area attracts families and longer-term residents who value space, access to excellent private schools, the relatively calm residential feel and the proximity to Jumeirah Beach, Kite Beach and Madinat Jumeirah. It is significantly less frenetic than the Marina or Downtown, with strong cafe culture and community restaurants.
