Al Dawaar at the Hyatt Regency Deira is the UAE's original revolving restaurant - one of the oldest in the world - completing a full rotation every 90 minutes with panoramic views from above Deira across the creek, the Gulf, Palm Jumeirah and the Dubai skyline. The Friday brunch buffet is a generous international affair with an excellent seafood station (live oysters, prawns, grilled fish), live carving and cooking stations, and a dessert spread that properly fills the table. The setting - watching Dubai rotate slowly around you - remains singular despite the age of the concept. A consistently overlooked gem on the Deira corniche.
