Al Quoz · 17th St - Al Qouz Ind.first - Al Quoz - Dubai - United Arab Emirates

Website

Well-known hub of the contemporary arts scene boasting an evolving collection of galleries.

Alserkal Avenue is Dubai's most important contemporary art district - a converted industrial warehouse complex in Al Quoz that houses over a dozen serious international galleries alongside independent cinemas, performance venues, and some of the city's most interesting independent cafés. Galleries including Carbon 12, The Third Line, Leila Heller, and Grey Noise exhibit internationally recognised artists, and the district hosts major openings during Art Dubai week and throughout the season. Entry to galleries is free. The architecture - white-walled warehouses with loading dock entrances, flooded with natural light - is a genuine pleasure to walk through. Nothing else in Dubai feels quite like it.
