Creek Park is one of Dubai's largest green spaces - 96 hectares of parkland running alongside the Dubai Creek with views across to Deira and Garhoud. It's a proper local park: families BBQ under the trees on Fridays, joggers and cyclists do laps of the internal circuit, and the amphitheatre hosts occasional free events. The cable car (paid) runs the length of the park with excellent creek aerial views. Children's City (a separate paid section) is an interactive science and culture museum for younger children. Entry to the main park is nominal (AED 5) - negligible for 96 hectares of maintained greenery and waterfront.
