The architecture is more considered than typical Dubai commercial developments, with covered walkways, public art installations, and a pedestrian-friendly layout that rewards browsing rather than destination-visiting. The retail here is largely independent, local, and specialist: concept stores, homegrown fashion labels, bespoke furniture showrooms, and art galleries that show regionally significant work. The food and beverage options are strong - d3 has attracted several of Dubai's best café operators and a genuinely good set of restaurants. Most interesting during business hours on weekdays when the studios are active; quieter but more relaxed on weekend evenings.
