Brasserie Boulud's Friday garden brunch is Dubai's most Parisian experience - a proper French brasserie spread (oysters, smoked salmon, charcuterie, escargot, roast chicken) in an outdoor garden setting with a live jazz duo and a wine list that actually makes sense alongside the food. The cheese counter is exceptional - a full affinage selection with proper sourdough and baguette - and the unlimited rosé option is pitched at exactly the right level for a civilised afternoon. Less theatrical than the Latin party brunches but significantly more enjoyable for anyone who actually likes food and conversation.
