XLine is the world's longest urban zipline, stretching over a kilometre across Dubai Marina in a Superman-style horizontal flying position - not seated, but arms forward, face down, 170 metres above the marina waterway. The two parallel cables allow you to race a companion across, which makes it doubly theatrical. Launch from a purpose-built tower at JBR Walk and land on a platform at The Beach complex, with the Marina towers rising on both sides and the Arabian Gulf stretching out ahead. The whole flight takes about a minute but the adrenaline lasts considerably longer. One of the most visually striking experiences in a city full of them.
