City Social is Jason Atherton's Dubai restaurant, on the 43rd floor of Tower 2 at Grosvenor House on Al Emreef Street in Dubai Marina. The menu leans on wood and smoke: dry-aged steaks grilled over charcoal sit alongside pasta and Atherton's best-known dishes, in a dining room set high above the Marina. Cocktails are served on enclosed outdoor terraces looking towards Ain Dubai and Jumeirah Beach Residence. Dinner is the main event, and on Saturdays the doors open at 12:30pm for a daytime service. It is closed on Sundays, and it is a smart place to book for a proper night out.
