The Irish Village in Garhoud has been an unshakeable institution in Dubai since 1996 - a sprawling outdoor Irish pub with authentic Guinness on draught, live music almost nightly, a proper pub menu and a faithful community of regulars that spans every nationality and walk of life. The garden setting with its wooden benches and fairy lights is genuinely pleasant. Three decades in, it remains one of the most dependable evenings in Dubai.
