This guided photography walk through Al Fahidi, across the creek to Deira by abra, and into the gold and spice souqs is one of Dubai's best-kept cultural secrets. Led by a professional photographer who lives and shoots in Old Dubai, the tour is designed around the best light angles and most compelling frames in the historic district - wind towers, mashrabiya screens, the creek at magic hour, the explosion of gold in the jewellery souq, the sacks of turmeric and dried rose petals in the spice market. Groups are capped at eight so everyone gets individual attention on composition and technique. Both iPhone and DSLR photographers welcome.
