Zabeel · Zabeel Park Jogging Track - Al Kifaf - Dubai - United Arab Emirates

Website

Unique, 150-m-tall building resembling a picture frame, with historic displays & panoramic views.

The Dubai Frame is one of the city's most ingenious architectural statements - a 150-metre picture frame straddling the border between old and new Dubai. Look south and the historic neighbourhoods of Deira and Bur Dubai stretch out below; look north and the glittering skyline of Downtown and Sheikh Zayed Road fills the frame. The sky bridge connecting the two towers features a glass floor walkway that offers a vertiginous view straight down to Zabeel Park. The museum inside charts Dubai's extraordinary transformation from fishing village to global city. At AED 50, it is one of the best-value major attractions in Dubai. The elevator to the top is fast, the views on a clear day exceptional, and the glass floor section merits at least one careful step. Late afternoon light works well for photography on both sides. Allow ninety minutes for the full experience.
