iFly Dubai's vertical wind tunnel delivers the freefall sensation of skydiving without the plane, the altitude or the existential terror. Instructors start you face-down in the airstream at 200 km/h, holding you stable while you get comfortable, then progressively let go as confidence builds - by the end of a two-flight session most first-timers are arching properly and even pulling off basic moves. The whole experience is more athletic than it looks, using core and legs to control body position in the wind. Kids love it, adults are humbled by it, and serious skydivers use it for body flight training. A consistently excellent operation with patient, qualified instructors.
