Folly's Friday brunch is one of the most relaxed and genuinely food-focused in the city - a sharing-plate format of modern European cooking that changes seasonally, with an emphasis on quality over volume. Nick Alvis and Scott Price have built a DIFC restaurant that focuses on the food rather than the spectacle, and the brunch reflects that: interesting dishes, a room that fills with creative industry regulars, and a free-flow that includes good wine rather than just sparkling. The terrace is particularly good in winter. Less chaotic than the big hotel brunches, more interesting food, better company.
