October to April is when a Dubai pool day stops being a survival tactic and starts being the best way to spend a Saturday. You do not need a room booking: most of the city's hotel pools sell day passes, and the good ones hand the whole fee back as food and drink credit.
These are seven hotel pools, chosen for what the pass actually gets you, from a AED 99 infinity edge over a golf course to a family resort with its own splash park. Beach clubs have their own list. Prices below are from September 2026 and move with the season: weekends run higher than weekdays, and winter rates climb once the tourists arrive. Check the listing before you go, and book ahead for Fridays and Saturdays.
Vida Emirates Hills Pool
AED 99, fully redeemable at Origins, for an infinity pool that runs out towards the Emirates Golf Club fairways. That makes the pool itself free if you were going to eat lunch anyway. It is the cheapest pass on this list and the one we would send a friend to first: green views instead of sand, and a calm crowd.

Beach by FIVE
FIVE Palm Jumeirah's glass-lined pool and 150m of private beach for AED 100 on weekdays and AED 150 at weekends, all of it redeemable. Nowhere else on the Palm gets you pool and sand this cheaply. The hotel's social reputation carries through to daytime, so expect a crowd that came to be seen as much as to swim.

Wet Deck at W Dubai The Palm
The W's pool deck on the West Crescent is adults-only, which is the whole pitch. There is a swim-up bar, loungers set in the shallow water and beach access when you want the sea instead. The AED 150 pass is fully redeemable on food and drink.

One&Only One Za'abeel Pool
A proper resort pool without leaving the city. One&Only One Za'abeel's split-level garden pool has a swim-up bar and poolside dining, and it is a short drive from DIFC and Downtown. The AED 150 pass is redeemable on poolside food and drinks. There is no beach, and that is the trade-off that makes it work on a weekday afternoon.

Iris Dubai - Pool Brunch
Iris at Meydan turns its infinity pool into a Friday brunch from noon: a sunbed, a swim-up bar, free-flow drinks and a DJ, with food brought round the pool. At around AED 500 per person with drinks it is the most expensive day here, and it is a party rather than a lazy swim. Book it when you want both.

JA The Resort Pool and Beach
Pools, a private beach and a splash park on one pass, in a resort big enough that everyone finds their own corner. It costs AED 150 on weekdays and AED 250 at weekends, redeemable at Anchor Bar, Palmito, Captain's and the Sports Cafe. Book 24 hours ahead.

It is 35 to 45 minutes from Downtown, so make it the whole day. Arrive early and the children will be asleep before you are back on Sheikh Zayed Road.
Aquaventure Waterpark
Not a pool pass so much as the pool day at maximum volume. There are 30-plus slides, the private Atlantis beach and a shark lagoon, which is enough to wear out children and the adults who claim they are only there to supervise. It costs more than anything else here and it is still the obvious pick for a family day.
